Full course description
The goal of the course is to provide a basic understanding of the journey of wood from forest to wooden building.
In the 13 course modules, we cover the boreal forest’s condition and potential, biodiversity and how it is affected by forest operations, as well as the various values of the forest and its importance to society.
In the course, you will learn about the different tree species found in Sweden, how they are managed, and the forestry actions taken in the forest. You will also learn about forest history and how wood was used in the past.
